One Hundred Soft Warm Wishes

OK My Loved Ones....Family....Friends,



I'm going to ask for your help.

I thank you all ahead of time for helping me welcome Mae Li with this because it isn't easy collecting 100 anything!



I have started Mae Li's Bai Jia Mei by participating in a quilt square and wish(squishes) swap with other mommies from a Yahoo! group who are waiting for their babes. So far I have received 45 beautiful quilt squares(8"x8") each with a beautiful wish or prayer for Mae Li!





In turn I have also sent them a beautiful squish(8"x8")square of material and wish) for their babes.



Now I am hoping that you, Mae Li's family will join in and send her an 8"x8" square of a material of your choice to add to her quilt. Also if you could please include a written or typed wish or poem on a little index card or construction paper or anything. Please attach a small swatch of the material on the card because I will be making a scrapbook of all the wishes/prayers for her. Oh, and if you can please wash the material before you cut it to prevent shrinkage after the quilt is made.

Mae Li will be able to compare her quilt to her scrapboook and say, " OHHH LOOK, this ones from Aunt So and So!" I dream of the day of being able to show her all the patterns and wishes/prayers that reflect how much we all loved her ever before she came. Be as creative as you like on the card.

Some people include poems or famous quotes. They are all beautiful. I will post some pics of some examples later on tonight.
